Inzombifest

Looking for an all-night long party, big name DJs and an amazing selection of music, INSOMNIFEST is back at Beaver Works for another fantastic spooky special. Let your spooky side out and enjoy a night of live music with local DJs Tom Zanetti and KO Kane.

Black Death: Zombie Experience

  • Where – The Merrion Centre
  • When – Saturday 26th October 9.30pm

Looking for something a bit different? Immerse yourself in an actor led zombie-survival experience this Halloween in the Merrion Centre. You’ll journey through detailed sets full of special effect and jump scares in the Black Death: Zombie Experience which will be taking no prisoners this spooky season. The real challenge is to make it out alive, do you feel brave enough to take on the zombies?

Living Dead Halloween Festival

  • Where – Stylus, Leeds
  • When – Thursday 31st October 10pm

Leeds University Union as you have never seen it before, transformed for the ultimate scare fest for lost souls. Live actors, terrifying circus performers and hauntingly good events. Take a trip into the one of the University’s biggest events, sold out each year and be ready for a trick… or a treat!

If you’re looking for pumpkin picking, outdoor cinema experiences and family days out, Leeds and the surrounding areas cater for pretty much everything you could want this spooky season.

Halloween Outdoor season: Interview with the Vampire

  • Where – Kirkstall Abbey
  • When – Saturday 2nd November 7.30pm

This Halloween celebrates 25 years of cult movie Interview with the Vampire and what better way to view it but at one of the most atmospheric venues in Leeds, Kirkstall Abbey. This is the perfect place for an outdoor screening of something Vamptastic! With refreshments available on site, all you need to do is sit back, relax and prepare for a few scares.

Farmer Copley’s Pumpkin Festival

  • Where – Ravensknowle Farm, Pontefract
  • When – October 5th – 31st

Perfect for Pumpkin picking and celebrating the wonderful season of Autumn Farmer Copleys hosts the UK’s largest pumpkin festival. Be sure to wrap up warm and come prepared to pick the perfect pumpkin, which you can also carve on site. If you are feeling the Autumnal chill, the café provides warming refreshments and great local produce to purchase.

Lotherton Scarecrow Trail

  • Where – Lotherton Hall
  • When – October 26th – November 3rd

Hidden all over the house and grounds of Lotherton Hall you can spot the Scarecrows, spooky spiders, ghoulish ghosts and wicked witches. A great, spooky day out for the family, dressing up is encouraged and creepy craft activities are on hand to create your own frightful Halloween decorations!
