Leeds Christkindelmarkt is back!

We don’t know about you, but the German market is one of our favourite things about Christmas in Leeds! The German market re-opens it’s gate this year on Friday the 11th of November.

The market is open 10.30am-9.30am everyday until the 18th of December.

The market offers over 40 authentic German stalls, which sell a range of food, drinks, clothes and crafts. Perfect for Christmas shopping!

Here are a few of the attractions at the German market that we are most looking forward to!

The Alp Chalet

The Alp Chalet is returning again this year to the Christmas market. Located slap bang in the middle of the busy market Alp Chalet is know for its traditional Bavarian food, drink, decor and entertainment. An authentic Bavarian evening for all! Alp Chalet has also started opening for lunch and breakfast (only on Sunday mornings). Perfekt!!

Kuh Stall

One of the many cosy bar set ups the market has to offer, the Kuh Stall being a particular favourite. The indoor bar offers a cosy real log fire whilst serving everyone’s favourite Christmas drink, Glühwein! If that wasn’t enough to entice you in they also serve the famous traditional German sausages from a huge grill! Kuh Stall translates in English to cow bar, very appropriate!

Ski Hutte

A new addition to the markets this year, this chalet styled bar area that will make you feel like you’ve just come off the slopes…
