| We’d need a few more pages to offer even a brief guide as to what the City Centre has to offer, but you can be sure that whatever you’re looking for, there’s a good chance that Leeds has it! For shopping, bars, restaurants, opera, dance, theatre and shows, the choice is almost endless. There are plenty of attractions based around the centre, such as the free to enter Royal Armouries museum or the Leeds City Art Gallery, whilst restaurants and bars hug every corner and shops line every street. The large bus and train stations make the rest of the country ever more accessible whilst despite the variety on offer, you’ll find the central area compact and easy to walk around. The central campuses of Leeds University and Leeds Metropolitan University are also on the fringes of the City Centre and surrounded by a variety of pubs, cafés and takeaways of their own.
