| Second only to Headingley in student popularity, accommodation here is a short walk to the two City Campuses and only a few minutes away from Headingley. Its focal point is the huge park itself, great for a bit of weekend exercise, and also the area of cafes and boutiques at Hyde Park Corner. The area is dotted with takeaways, convenience stores and a couple of large student friendly pubs which are great for cheap food and drink. You’ll also find the locally famous Hyde Park Picture House, a haven for independent film buffs, which has been showing films in its Edwardian interior since 1914.
