| Another of Leeds' up and coming suburbs which now boasts a dizzy array of bars, restaurants and shops. Given its proximity to the City, it is with some pride that Chapel Allerton has not only maintained its “village” image and mentality but has positively thrived on it and now offers a real sense of community which it has managed to combine with the trappings of city life. Traditional pubs mingle with modern bars and there’s a real diversity of restaurants with Thai, Greek, Italian, Lebanese, Indian and Chinese just a few of the menu’s on offer. Residents are proud of their local shops and for added convenience there’s also a good sized supermarket right in the centre.
