| Pudsey |
|
| Pudsey is growing in size and stature and becoming an ever more popular choice for the young professional or family who want to experience the bustle of living in a town which is more than just a dormitory for Leeds and Bradford. The birthplace of one of Yorkshire’s most famous sons, cricketer Len Hutton, and one of the country’s most famous bears (!), Pudsey has a lot more to offer than sporting history and large yellow soft toys. At its heart lies Pudsey Park, with a mini zoo, aviary, bowling green, playground and aquarium, whilst serious shoppers can enjoy Pudsey’s very own out of town shopping centre (“The Owlcotes Centre”), or the market which is held three times a week. There is also a sports centre, swimming baths and plenty of nearby courses to keep the golfers happy.
