| Bordering Headingley, Meanwood offers some good value accommodation and like most areas of North Leeds offers good transport links to the city centre and surrounding areas whilst the restaurants and bars of Headingley are only a short trip away. With a mixture of students, professionals and families, Meanwood’s population is an interesting mix and well serviced by a number of shops, supermarkets and amenities, as well the small but handy Northside Retail Park. Despite the high concentration of housing there’s also a welcome burst of greenery with the Meanwood Valley Nature Reserve which spreads across some 140 acres in total and is perfect for a Sunday afternoon stroll.
